A funeral program, ready to print
A memorial service program, ready to print.
A memorial service program is the printed booklet for a service held without the body present, often after cremation or burial. It typically includes the person's name, photo and dates, the order of service, readings and music, a short life summary and a thank-you from the family. Most are a single folded sheet, four pages long.

Memorial service or funeral?
A funeral usually takes place with the body or casket present, soon after death. A memorial service can happen at any time afterwards and in almost any place: a place of worship, a hall, a garden. Because there's often more time to plan, the program can include more photos, a fuller life story and tributes from several people.
What to include
- Cover: name, photo, dates, and the date and place of the service.
- Order of service: prelude music, welcome, readings, tributes or eulogy, prayers or a moment of silence, closing words and music.
- Words: text of hymns, songs or readings guests may join in.
- Life summary: a short paragraph about their life, work and family.
- Back page: thank-you, reception details, and any memorial donation information.
Checking the running order
Confirm the final order with the officiant or whoever is leading the service before you print. Check names, dates and the spelling of every reading's author.

Questions
What's the difference between a funeral and a memorial service?

What goes in a memorial program?
A photo, name and dates, the order of service, readings, music titles, a thank-you and reception details.

The cover holds one photo; more can go on the inside pages.
Do I pay before I see anything?
No. You see the result first, and only pay if it feels right. Refunds are available for 7 days, no questions asked.
