A funeral program (also called a funeral pamphlet or service program) is the folded sheet handed to guests: a photo and name on the front, the order of the service inside, readings and music, pallbearers, and a short thank-you from the family. You fill in what you have, choose one of three templates, and download a print-ready PDF in folded Letter size and a flat version.

What goes in a funeral program

Front: a photo, full name, dates of birth and death, and a short line (a phrase they lived by, or simply "In loving memory").
Inside: the order of service, line by line: welcome, readings, music, eulogy, prayers or reflections, committal or closing.
Back: pallbearers, a thank-you note from the family, where the reception is, and donation details.

Templates

Classic (serif type, cream paper feel), Modern (clean and minimal), and Faith (with space for a cross and scripture reference). All print well on a home printer and at a print shop.

Music and readings

We print song and hymn titles and the names of readings, not full song lyrics or modern poems, which are usually protected by copyright. Public-domain texts, such as many psalms and older poems, can be printed in full.

Getting it printed

Most families print 50 to 150 copies. Print shops can usually turn a PDF around the same day; ask for folded, double-sided printing on heavier paper. If a line won't fit, we'll tell you which one to shorten rather than shrinking the type.
